Back in February 2010, we switched from SSO to TQQQ for two reasons. First, we wanted to increase our leverage. SSO is a double S&P and TQQQ is a triple Nasdaq 100. We could have gone with UPRO, a triple S&P etf, but the SPY/QQQ ratio chart clearly showed the Nasdaq 100 had been outperforming the S&P by a lot.
